Cheshire and Flintshire: River Dee. (12) Tracing from an Ordnance Survey map showing railway approaches to Saltney Port and a sandbank on the Chester side of the River. Compass indicator. Signed by J H Davies, Surveyor, Chester, 1 August 1872. MS note indicates that the state of the bank as shown on the plan was 'at the date of collision as per Captn Davies'. (13) Another tracing of the same Ordnance Survey map, with pencil additions indicating the approximate position of the sandbank.
