Cheshire: [Birkenhead]. Plan showing vacant building land bounded by Borough Road, Carlton Road and Kingsland Road. Houses, businesses and tramways are also shown. Scale: 1 inch to 27.5 feet. Compass indicator. Drawn by C O Francis, Surveyor, Richmond Street, Liverpool for the case 'Regina v Martlew. Re- Pleavin'. Thomas Joshua Martlew was tried at the assizes at Chester Castle 26 July 1888, and found not guilty of the murder of James Pleavin of Bebington (see ASSI 64/97)
