Reference table to trunk roads and motorways: as existing, as planned for construction by early 1970s, and as proposed. Scale: 1 inch to 5 miles. Compass indicator. Produced by the Ministry of Transport. Originally produced to illustrate note produced by the Committee on the Third London Airport, concerning London's radial roads and railways (paper TLAP 9/62).
