Map no 3: 'Lancashire County Council. British Electricity Authority North Western Division Proposed 275 KV Transmission Lines'. Reproduction of parts of four Ordnance Survey 1:2,500 sheets joined to show the Kearsley area. Compass indicator. Produced by U Aylmer Coates, County Planning Officer. Coloured MS additions show route of existing 132,000-volt transmission line; route submitted to local authorities and the British Electricity Authority for observations; and suggested amendments to reduce the crossings of the existing 132,000 line. Reference table to additions.
