Reproduction of Ordnance Survey six-inch map of Lancashire sheets XCV NE and XCV SE joined. Coloured MS additions show revised route for the 275,000-volt ZQ Carrington to Tottington transmission line; boundaries of local authority areas affected (Worsley, Swinton, Kearsley and Radcliffe). Reproduced by the Central Electricity Authority from its maps nos 338 and 316, 25 May 1955. Originally enclosed in letter of 25 May 1955 to the Clerk. Kearsley Urban District Council.
