Reproduction of Ordnance Survey six-inch map sheet Lancashire LXX NE. Red ink additions show route of proposed power line in the Blackburn area. Stamped in the County Borough of Blackburn Town Planning Department, 21 April 1955. This is map no 941 dated 18 April 1955 and originally attached to Form B returned by the Deputy Town Clerk, Blackburn County Borough Council on 6 September 1955 in response to the British Electricity Authority's planning application dated 18 April 1955.
