Nineteen reproductions, made by the British Electricity Authority, of sheets of the Ordnance Survey six-inch map of Lancashire. The original of each sheet also bore a British Electricity Authority map number, which is given below in brackets following the Ordnance Survey sheet designation; and each sheet bears a manuscript number from 1 to 19. (20) Sheet Lancashire LXXIII SE and LXXXI NE and parts of Yorkshire (West Riding) CCXLIV and CCXLV (BEA map no 988); (21) parts of Lancashire LXXXI NW and Lancashire LXXXI SW joined (BEA map no 462); (22) Lancashire LXXX SE (BEA map no 460); (23) Lancashire LXXX SW (BEA map no 985); (24) Lancashire LXXIX SE (BEA map no 356); (25) Lancashire LXXXVII NE (BEA map no 357); (26) Lancashire LXXIX SW (BEA map no 342); (27) Lancashire LXXVIII SE and part of LXXIX SW (BEA map no 343); (28) Lancashire LXXVIII NE (BEA map no 982); (29) Lancashire LXX SW and LXXVIII NW (BEA map no 464); (30) Lancashire LXIX SE (BEA map no 976); (31) Lancashire LXIX NW and part of Lancashire LXIX SW (BEA map no 465); (32) Lancashire LX SE and LXVIII NE (BEA map no 467); (33) Lancashire LXXXVI NE (BEA map no 759); (34) Lancashire LXXXVI SE (BEA map no 760); (35) Lancashire XCIV NE (BEA map no 758); (36) part of Lancashire XCIV SE and Lancashire XCV SW joined (BEA map no 463); (37) Lancashire CIII NW (BEA map no 314); (38) Lancashire CIII SW (BEA map no 312); (39) Lancashire CX NW and parts of Cheshire VIII and IX (BEA map no311).
Red ink additions on each sheet show route of proposed 275,000-volt power line ZP between Penwortham and Monk Fryston. Each sheet was stamped in the Ministry of Fuel and Power, 29 June 1954.
