Two reproductions of Ordnance Survey six-inch maps of Lancashire: (23) sheet LXXVIII SE; (24) sheet LXXXVI NE. Red ink additions show route of proposed power line in the Bolton and Turton areas. These are maps nos 343 and 759 dated 15 December 1953 and originally attached to the British Electricity Authority's planning application dated 30 December 1953.
