Surveyed under the direction of J J Grinlinton, John Stoddart and G H Symonds; drawn by J H Pieris; printed by Waterlow and Sons Ltd. Signed: Lieutenant Colonel A B Fyers, Royal Engineers, Surveyor General, Colombo, 13 May 1878. MS additions showing the location of a proposed new coal depot. Originally enclosed in Governor Havelock's despatch number 307, 28 July 1892.
