Sierra Leone. 2 maps. (4) 'Route of the expedition under Lieutenant Governor Rowe CMG from British Sherbro to the upper Bompeh [?Bumpe] and Mendi [i.e. Mende] country, November and December 1875': map also showing rivers, mountains, towns and missions. Scale: 1 inch to about 6 miles (calculated). Compass indicator. (5) Map of the area around Moyamba, showing the same route. Originally illustrating [a report on] a punitive expedition by Rowe, following an earlier native raid. The MS original maps are not among the papers in CO 267/328-330.
