'Map of that portion of the Anglo French boundary near Sierra Leone showing results of joint observations of Captain Fairtlough and Lieutenant Millot': showing rivers, tracks and settlements between the Mellakori and Scarcies estuaries; the boundary with French Guinea; and the precise latitudes and longitudes of 3 points on the [Great] Scarcies River; the villages in dispute [between France and Great Britain] are marked in red. Lithographed by Wyman and Sons, Ltd. Originally produced for a report from Captain E D H Fairtlough, Commanding Officer, Frontier Police, Samu, to the Inspector General of Frontier Police; this copy formerly enclosure number 2 in a print of confidential despatch number 9, 22 January 1895.
