Originally filed with the agreement as an enclosure to a print of despatch number 64 from the Foreign Office to the Colonial Office, 8 February 1895 (confidential print African (West) number 481, published 22 October 1895). An annex to the agreement states: 'Although the delineation of the line of demarcation on the map [...] is believed to be generally accurate, it shall not be considered as an absolutely correct representation of that line until it has been confirmed by future surveys.'
