'Map of that portion of the Anglo-French boundary near Sierra Leone': covering territory between the Mellakori and Scarcies estuaries, showing villages, the boundary with French Guinea and the precise latitudes and longitudes of 2 points on the [Great] Scarcies River. Compiled from a map by Captain [Arthur Herbert] Kenney and from information supplied by officers that had visited the region; lithographed by Wyman and Sons, Ltd. Produced to illustrate a letter from Governor F Cardew, Sierra Leone, to Governor D Ballay, French Guinea, 21 December 1894, explaining boundary uncertainties, in response to Ballay's complaints about British frontier police; this version enclosed with a confidential print (published 22 October 1895), of despatch number 105, 24 December 1894.
