Cephalonia (Kefallonia; now part of Greece). 2 sheets. (2) 'Progetto di mole da farsi in Santa Eufemia per ricupere delli navigili': map of Agia Evfimia Bay. Scale: 1 inch to about 70 feet. Compass indicator; west at the top. Signed: Major J F S Symonds, Royal Engineers, resident at Argostoli. (3) Cross-section of a mole, showing a ship alongside it. Reference table. Signed: C Read. Dimensions: (2) 54.5 cm x 69.5 cm; (3) 20.5 cm x 29.5 cm. Originally enclosed with an estimate for building the mole, by Major Symonds, 14 February 1850.
