Map showing coastline of Burma (now Myanmar), mountain ranges, Mayu, Pi, Kaladan and Lemru rivers, place names, roads, unit headquarters and defensive areas, routes taken in attack and retreat, and the India-Burma boundary. Compass indicator. [Allied and Japanese] defensive positions, lines of attack and withdrawal added in red and blue MS. 'Map 8' pencilled in upper right margin and printed in lower left margin. To illustrate chapter 5 ('28th Army: Monsoon Disposition 1944').
