'British Isles': outline map, showing county boundaries (counties unnamed). Conical projection with two standard parallels. Printed by George Philip & Son Ltd, London, 1944 (New Series, Large Outline Maps - British Isles). Inset: Shetland Islands. Overprinted title: 'Oil Pipelines & Government Storage in U.K. (except Admiralty)'. A note states that storage installations below 5000 tons capacity have been excluded. Marked: 'Annex'. To illustrate memorandum by Minister of Supply, entitled 'Recovery of the United Kingdom Oil Pipe-Line for Re-use or Scrap' (Cabinet Defence Committee paper DO (48) 19 of 20 February 1948).
