Outline map of eastern England between Tenterden, Kent, and Cromer, Norfolk, and the coast of Europe between Dunkirk (Dunkerque), France, and IJmuiden, Netherlands, showing [barrage balloon] release sites and an 'interception area' 63 miles north - south by 75 miles east - west, with its north-west corner at Halstead, Essex, and its south-east corner at Dunkerque. Scale: 1 inch to 8 miles. Compass indicator. MS table of release sites to be used according to the wind direction. A sheet of tracing paper, affixed to the map, bears an additional compass rose. Originally Appendix A to a paper in file FC/S27072 Ops 3(c); no directly relevant papers have been identified in the parent document (AIR 13/139).
