Surrey. 3 copies of a map showing roads and a railway line. Compass indicator. Traced from the Ordnance Survey six-inch County Series sheets Surrey XX SW and Surrey XX NW; dated 30 April 1918. MS additions, coloured, to items 4-5, highlighting part of Kenley common and marking a footpath to be closed. MS additions, coloured, to item 6 showing the part of the existing common proposed to be acquired [by the Air Ministry] and the area proposed to be substituted for it. (4) and (5) originally accompanying a different copy of a Court of Railway and Canal Concession Order, 12 January 1923, (6) originally accompanying a letter from the Comptroller of Lands to the Clerk of Caterham Urban District Council, 19 April 1922, all in file EASTERN8/403.
