To Ormonde from Villars: Ormonde must be distressed to be abandoned by troops the queen has paid for twelve years. Dunkirk will be evacuated as soon as the troops arrive from England. Ormonde is at liberty to remain on French soil. Dated at camp at Noyelle[s-Godault]. PS. suggesting a meeting between himself, Ormonde and Strafford, possibly half way between their camps. ff. 57, 58
