Description

Marlborough to St John: enemy destruction of forage has forced him to make demands of the surrounding castellanies. He encloses a letter from the deputies of Flanders [SP 87/6/133]. Ill will of the magistracy of Ghent. He encloses a copy of his reply to them [SP 87/6/134], a letter to Lord Orrery on the subject [SP 87/6/135] and a further reply from the deputies of Flanders [SP 87/6/136]. Allied and enemy dispositions. Dated at camp near Bouchain. ff. 281, 282
