Marlborough to the elector Palatine: it is some time since he has received mail from London, but he has sent the elector's letter on. There will be no difficulty with rations for the Palatine troops, but when in the field, he would expect them to find their own forage. The elector may be assured he will do everything possible for the troops. Dated at camp at Lens. ff. 189, 190
