Marlborough to St John: there is a French detachment at Mons. Bavarian troops are still with the French army, and he encloses a letter from the elector [SP 87/6/76] asking for passes for his court and goods to move to Namur. Count Wratislaw has written that the earl of Peterborough has left Vienna. He should now be in the Netherlands, and will take to England the [imperial] court's views on the 8,000 men for service in Italy. Dated at camp at Lens. ff. 159-160
