Marlborough [to St John]: he encloses copies of letters to M. de Seissan [SP 87/6/44] and the duke of Savoy [SP 87/6/43]. The queen is still willing to bear her portion of the cost of the project relating to French deserters. He is in the dark regarding the dispute between Vienna and Savoy. He encloses a letter from the states general on the subsistence of the imperial corps in the low countries [SP 87/6/45]. Prince Eugene is expected at The Hague within days. Continual rains since leaving Tournai. Dated at Warde. ff. 93, 94
