Marlborough to St John: he encloses Count Sinzendorf's account of the death of the emperor [Joseph I] [SP 87/6/36]. The imperial and Palatine troops may be called away. Intended route of the army to the region of Douai. Dealings of Lord Orrery with the council of state [of the Spanish Netherlands]. Count Seckendorff is at Mainz raising troops for the corps of neutrality. Dated at Tournai. PS. that this goes by the Ostend post, and he is sending a duplicate with the original letters via the Netherlands. ff. 73, 74
