Memorial to the states general from Count Grumbkow and Hymmen, ministers of the king of Prussia, complaining of late payment of subsidies, the exclusion of the king from some peace negotiations, his dissatisfaction with the barrier treaty and the Orange succession. The king demands that arrears of subsidies be paid, that no peace negotiations, preliminary or final, be undertaken without regard for his claims, that his claims regarding the principality of Orange be respected, and that they use their good offices with the emperor [Joseph I] and the queen so that his demands may be met. Dated at The Hague. ff. 44-47
