Marlborough [to the earl of Sunderland]: the bearer, Mr. Jackson, has reported on the bad situation of Sweden. He encloses a letter [SP 87/5/61] from [Ferenc] Rákcózi [II of Hungary]. The [grand] pensionary has also received one, and believes that England and the Netherlands should renew their offers of mediation in Vienna. If the queen agrees, Lord Townshend should take the necessary measures with the pensionary. He also has a letter from the protestants of Hungary and Transylvania. The count de Gallagh should not know of this.. Dated at The Hague. PS. that Rákcózi's letter should be read to the queen. ff. 123, 124
