Marlborough to Boyle: he acknowledges the queen's answer to the [grand] pensionary on the marquis de Torcy's letter. Severe proclamation of the states general against carrying corn into France. Sir John Leake's squadron has captured two French ships bound from Danzig to Dunkirk with corn. He will try to have Mr. Dodeswell sent home from France. They will take possession of the town the next day. Dated at camp before Tournai. ff. 37, 38
