Cadogan to Marlborough: clearing of the Scarpe and Deule rivers; he encloses dispositions for the mining of the Sambre [SP 87/4/232], which has been approved in the Netherlands. The enemy intend breaking the treaty of contribution. Reinforcements for the defence of navigation on the Scarpe, and further reinforcements between the Dyle and Scarpe should the siege of Cambrai go forward. Dated at Brussels. ff. 635-637
