Adam Cardonnel to Tilson: he hopes he has received news of the capitulation of the town of Tournai, sent that morning. It is quiet on both sides, and the engineers are studying ways of attacking the citadel. Dated at camp before Tournai. PS. dated 30 July that Marlborough has held back the post, which enables him to enclose a copy of the treaty. ff. 395, 396; 403
