Adam Cardonnel to Under Secretary George Tilson: he expects in Tilson's next letters to hear of the reception of Lord Stair with the news [of Oudenaarde]. Their parties have put the country into consternation almost to Paris. They await their artillery and Prince Eugene's troops. He asks for 'poor Wich' to be recommended to the secretary [Boyle].
