Adam Cardonnel to Under Secretary George Tilson: he will ensure that the 56,000 crowns due to the elector of Prussia is not paid twice. Sir David Nairne has no aversion to sending Captain Murray [to Terbank]. Pulteney need not fear that the king of Denmark will withdraw his troops. He welcomes the news from Galway and Sir John Leake's capture of the provision ships. Prince Eugene is at Frankfurt. He does not know whether the Palatine troops will march, and distrusts the court at Vienna. The French have moved all their forces from the upper Rhine to the Moselle. Dated at camp at Terbank. ff. 64-66
