Marlborough to Boyle: he sent a parley to Bruges, to which M. Grimaldi replied that he must follow the orders of the duke of Bavaria and Marshal de Boufflers; however the French garrison retired during the night, and allied troops will take possession of the town next day as their winter quarters.
