Marlborough to the king of Prussia [Frederick I]: once the citadel of Lille has fallen it will be necessary to attack Ghent before the end of the campaigning season. He asks the king to consider augmenting his forces in the low countries and to renew the treaty under which he maintains troops in Italy. Dated at camp at Beirlegem. ff. 231, 232
