Marlborough [to the earl of Sunderland]: he hopes that the earl of Raby may dissuade the king of Prussia [Frederick I] from withdrawing his troops from the Ferrarese. The lord treasurer should not be too hasty in paying the Swedish ministers, and when he does, it should be through Robinson. Count Wackerbart, commanding the troops of King Augustus [of Poland] is fortifying La Bassée. Dated at camp at Roeselare. ff. 205, 206
