Description

Enclosure to SP 87/3/69. To [Lieutenant General] Erle from Marlborough, explaining that he is not in a position to support Erle's project [against Abbeville]. He should instead follow his first instructions to attack the coast of Normandy. Dated at camp at Wervik. ff. 149, 150
