Marlborough to Boyle: the two armies are placed as before. He has reviewed the troops, which are in good order. The 2,300 troops have entered Hamburg, where Robinson and the Dutch minister have acted prudently towards Denmark. There is an expression in the queen's letter to King Stanislaus [of Poland] which may give offence to [ex] King Augustus [of Poland]. The elector of Bavaria has moved a detachment towards the Moselle, which may give the elector of Hanover an opportunity when he comes to his army. News of a French defeat in Catalonia and the capture of two French ships. He encloses news from the upper Rhine. Dated at camp at Terbanck. ff. 77, 78
