Marlborough to Boyle: The copy of the memorials presented by M Welderse agree with what was presented to the states [general] at The Hague. Boyle will see from Robinson's letter that the burghers have consented to receive 2, 300 troops into the town [Hamburg]. All manner of respect has been shown by English and Dutch ministers to the king of Denmark, so the prince should be satisfied. Marlborough has no objection to the exchange of the bishop of Lübeck. He received word on Saturday morning that the French were moving to threaten Louvain, so called in his foragers and marched towards Anderlecht, passed the Brussels canal and arrived at Terbanck. The French are now between Genappe and Braine l'Alleud. Three battalions of infantry arrived at Ostend and are now at Ghent. Dated at camp at Terbank. ff. 73, 74
