Enclosure to SP 87/3/15. De Matueof, Russian ambassador to London, to Marlborough: he has heard from Baron d'Urblick of Marlborough's zeal and good offices [regarding the admission of Russia into the grand alliance] at the grand congress, and has brought them to the attention of the czar. He hopes that Marlborough will bring to the queen's attention the results of the meeting with Prince Eugene, a deputy of the states general and [Baron] Urbick. He thanks him for receiving M. Van den Burgh. Dated at London. ff. 35, 36
