Marlborough to Boyle: Prince Eugene has left Hanover to try to persuade King Augustus [of Poland] to supply troops. Marlborough encloses proposals for the campaign and details of what was agreed at Hanover. They have left the elector 2,000 imperial cavalry and promised to send 5,000 reinforcements from the low countries. His dissatisfaction with the levy money for Prince Eugene's 4,000 imperial troops. He encloses Robinson's letter and a form of the declaration to be made by him and the Dutch envoy to the city of Hamburg [SP 87/3/10], and asks for them to be shown to the queen. He has had a letter from Brigadier Sabine saying that ten battalions have arrived at Ostend. He is leaving for Flanders. Dated at The Hague. ff. 13-15
