Description

Marlborough to Harley: chicanery of M. Saulebouf [regarding parole]. He encloses a letter [SP 87/2/343] from the count de Wartenberg for the queen's attention. Neither the queen nor the states [general] are likely to enter the guaranty while there are four Swedish regiments in Silesia. Robinson has been in conference with Count Piper since Count Wratislaw's visit. He has prolonged the marquis de Tilly's permit of leave because of his consumption. Dated at camp at Meldert. ff. 697, 698
