Marlborough to the council of state of the Spanish Netherlands: as Brabant and the larger part of Flanders have acknowledged Charles III as king, the queen has ordered her navy to protect and assist their vessels, and gives them leave to trade with England and all her realms. He asks them to take similar action to remove the prohibition on English cloth and other manufactures. The queen will then be able to lift the prohibition in England on lace and other products of the Spanish Netherlands. The queen's benevolence towards the Spanish Netherlands.
