Marlborough to Harley: orders have been given for the embarkation of the three battalions at Ostend, and the Dutch transports are expected. He urges good treatment for M. de Rivera, a Spanish prisoner of war. Overkirk is marching from Ostend to join him. The duke of Savoy is prepared to sacrifice himself for the public good, but it may be that Prince Eugene has defeated Vendôme. Dated at camp at Helchin. ff. 465, 466
