Marlborough to Harley: the count de Lescheraine has returned with the elector Palatine's answer, which Marlborough encloses [SP 87/2/188]. He will also communicate it to the states [general]. M. van Stocken has had no correspondence with Poussin and no orders from court to keep him in the Netherlands. He encloses a resolution [SP 87/2/185] of the states [general] for sending over M. Buys [pensionary of Amsterdam]. He is alarmed at the Danes taking possession of Lübeck. Dated at The Hague. PS. that he encloses news from Spain. ff. 369, 370
