Marlborough to Harley: method of payment of the loan of 300,000 crowns to ensure that it reaches Italy. The court wishes to proceed in the Lübeck affair in unison with England and the Netherlands, and the emperor [Joseph I] will write to the king of Denmark to inform him of his support for the prince administrator of Holstein. Marlborough will inform the courts of Berlin and Hanover of this outcome. M. Buys and the contraband. Marlborough is suffering from gout. Dated at Vienna. ff. 344, 345
