Description

Marlborough to [Sir Charles] Hedges, secretary of state: he is glad to hear the fleet is to sail for [cipher]. Design of Count Briançon, who has been soliciting [cipher]. The French are attacking Liège. Dated at camp at Bibrick [Bitburg]. PS. that Villeroi has detached certain troops which may be intended to join those of Villars marching into the bishopric of Cologne ff. 260, 261
