Marlborough [to Harley]: he hopes that now the electress of Bavaria has agreed to terms, some help may be sent to the duke of Savoy. Having had no satisfactory answer [from Prince Louis of Baden], he intends to set out for Berlin to seek the assistance of the king of Prussia. Count Wratislaw has delivered to him the emperor [Leopold I]'s letter regarding his elevation to a principality [SP 87/2/97]. Dated at Landau. ff. 191, 192
