Description

M. Maleknecht to the elector of Bavaria [deciphered copy]: he has written to M. Bombarda regarding the Spanish subsidies. He laments the state of affairs in Bavaria and encloses a letter from Baron de Simeoni, and news from Spain. The Spanish court is at Toulon. Events in Piedmont, the Mediterranean and the rebels in the Cévennes. Dissatisfaction in Villeroi's army. Overkirk is denying the French forage in Flanders. Dated at Brussels. ff. 139-142. On dorse, a deciphered copy of a letter from Maleknecht to M. Richard, the elector of Bavaria's secretary of state, lamenting the inactivity of Villeroi and Tallard, etc.
