Marlborough [to Harley]: he is sensible of the need to end the troubles in Hungary, and urges it on Count Wratislaw, but the imperial court find the Hungarian demands excessive. He continues to request instructions. The elector has retired into his lines between Dillingen [an der Donau] and Lauingen. He encloses a letter from Baron de Berlepsch [SP 87/2/41], who has now met the elector's secretary, but the elector's demands are too extravagant. Dated at Gingen [an der Donau]. ff. 73, 74
