Marlborough [to Nottingham]: Count Wratislaw's proposition that 10,000 of the army should winter at Trier rather than in the Netherlands. The detachment for the siege of Venlo is ready, but the train of artillery is not. He intends to approach the enemy threatening Nijmegen. Dated at camp at Everbeek. PS. that Lord Albemarle has been delayed with a convoy of bread and money, and that Weert has fallen. ff. 15, 16
