George Stepney to Sir William Trumbull [secretary of state]: the [grand] pensionary has told him to go to Frankfurt [am Main] to prepare the artillery. Count Trizen will embark for England, where he will argue in the name of Prince Louis of Baden and the circle, contrary to what the pensionary proposes to Baron Görtz. Requests more detailed instructions for his mission to Germany. The landgrave of Hesse is co-operating with the diet of the circles of the upper Rhine.
